What to Expect on the Day of a HydraFacial
When you come into our boutique office, you will be able to make yourself comfortable in our reclining chair. Using a specialized vortex wand, we will pass it back and forth across the surface of your skin during the three different treatment steps. The first stage of your Hydrafacial treatment involves a deep cleansing that uses water and a combination of different botanicals, salicylic acid, and glycolic acid. This process exfoliates your skin to remove the dead skin cells and open up the pores so they are ready for the extraction process. This is achieved with a series of pulses that are repeated over the treatment area to ensure the best results.
Next, a gentle peel solution is applied to remove the extra sebum (the oily substance produced in your sebaceous glands) from the surface of the skin and aid in deep pore extraction.
Finally, the vortex wand is used to infuse your skin with hydration in the form of nutrient-rich serums and botanicals. This slow infusion helps plump and replenish your skin, giving you that post-treatment glow.
The entire treatment process should take around 30 minutes.
